Frank Gifford was an NFL running back and wide receiver, and a sportscaster for both ABC and CBS. He is married to Kathie Lee Gifford with whom he has two children, Cody and Cassidy.
Before there was Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens, there was Frank Gifford. While these wide receivers are considered to be some of the best of all time, Frank Gifford is often overlooked as one of the best NFL players of all time. This is mainly due to the fact that he played in an era when quarterbacks like Johnny Unitas and Otto Graham were considered to be the best, and running backs like Jim Brown and Gale Sayers were considered to be the best, and wide receivers like Paul Warfield and Raymond Berry were considered to be the best. However, don’t let these biases fool you, Gifford was one of the greatest players of all time.
