Destin Choice Route, aka J.I.D, is a rapper and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is born on October 31, 1990, and raised in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta. The mixtape was featured on various music blogs and was praised by some of the hip-hop stars of the USA.
Later, he released another mix tape, which caught the attention of rapper J. Cole. Cole brought J.I.D into the Dreamville crew, and he eventually signed a deal with the label.
